Big feelings can be confusing for children. Many kids struggle to understand what is happening inside their bodies and minds, which can lead to anxiety, emotional outbursts, low self-esteem or difficulties both at home and school.

Big feelings can be confusing for children. Many kids struggle to understand what is happening inside their bodies and minds, which can lead to anxiety, emotional outbursts, low self-esteem or difficulties both at home and school.

Children gain confidence in understanding and expressing their feelings, develop healthy coping skills and feel more capable of navigating life’s challenges. Families leave with greater understanding, stronger connections and practical tools to support their child’s emotional wellbeing.

Experience: I am a Registered Social Worker (MSW, RSW with extensive experience supporting children, youth, adults & families. As a previous Mental Health Clinician at a local school board, I worked alongside students and caregivers  navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, behavioural concerns and life transitions. I also have experience in suicide risk assessment and crisis intervention.

Beyond therapy I am a partner, mom of 2, book author, and ice coffee enthusiast. Always a passionate advocate for children & women’s mental health.
